Constant Hanger selection
Constant Hangers are selected with the calculated supporting load FS and the total travel SN.
Besides the theoretically ascertained suspension point travel SS, PSS recommends to provide an additional travel reserve SR of 20% SS (at least 15 mm).
Type selection
After determination of the figure, selection of the hanger tape. Depending on the installation position, i.e. whether the hanger is installed above or below the structure, the types A – E are selected. Type G can be used for vertical installation only.
For extraordinary conditions special hangers can be manufactured.
